SISIR SARAS 2019

SISIR SARAS – 2019 – organized by  ORMAS and Sponsored by Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.  The Annual crafts fair will showcase Handicrafts and Indigenous rural products carved by Skilled Craftsmen, from 23 States across the Nation. Furthermore, it can be said the event is a composition of Crafts , Dance, Music and Fashion. It remained from 4th January to 14th January 2019, at the IDCO Exhibition Ground, Bhubaneswar.

Almost 300 Stalls were set up to display exclusive Craftsmanship  and Rural products from more than twenty three states, likewise (i.e. – Maharastra, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Assam). Special stalls were installed to introduce the prominent rural outlook of Odisha also to explore the rural attires and food flavors .

However, the primal purpose of SISIR SARAS not only for food and handicrafts but also to display the fine reproduction of waste products.

The 9 day long Mela will also include folk and cultural performances like – Jodisankha, Kuchipudi Dance, Sambalpuri Folk Dance, Music Shows, Odishi Dance, Chau Dance, to enlighten the evening moments.
